When it comes to SharePoint, there are 2 ways to create our VMs , networks, services, storage, etc. in Azure. In either case, we’re still creating something (or baking SharePoint farm). The question now is how do we want to cook/create it? Slow cooker or microwave?
*NOTE: I recently have learned there is a way to create VMs via a REST API, however I am still learning about this and will post updates as I understand more.

Most people are going to want to cook with PowerShell (nuke it!). It’s faster, easier and the way of the automated future. To create a SharePoint environment with PowerShell, I have created a list of the most popular PowerShell Azure SharePoint automation scripts out on the web for your use. Remember though, please don’t run any of these scripts until you have read my Windows Azure pricing explained article so you understand that each of these scripts will cost very different amounts. It is important to know this before you just grab a script and run it.
